There is a particular kind of presence that comes from a dress that does two things at once: all that light from the bodice, and all that volume from the skirt.
This is a full ballgown silhouette. The skirt is very full, built from layers of glitter tulle with a subtle woven or embossed pattern running through it, and it moves with real weight when she walks. The train sweeps out generously behind, cathedral-adjacent in its length.
The sweetheart neckline sits close to the body, and the bodice is a proper corset construction, lace-up at the back. The entire bodice surface is hand-embellished with pearl beading and crystal embroidery, laid out in vertical and diagonal lines that narrow toward the waist. There are no sleeves. Instead, two clusters of fine pearl strands fall from each shoulder across the upper arm, giving a soft off-the-shoulder impression without committing to a sleeve. The back of the corset is open and structured, with the lace-up closure visible and intentional.
This silhouette belongs in a grand ballroom or a large church ceremony. The glitter in the skirt catches light at any angle, so it reads just as well under candlelight as in full sun.
